Tata Motors launches Tata Tigor, aims to be topped 3 in auto business by 2019
Tata Motors, launched its latest version of passenger car Tata Tigor,is aiming to be top three among car makers in India by 2019.
Currently Tata Motors Ltd, now No 4th in the country with consolidated revenues of Rs 2,75,561 crores ( USD 41.6 billion)in 2015-16, achieved around 20 per cent growth in passenger car sales in first 11 months 2016-17, aimed big forby 2019 in passenger car share in the markets, Tata Motors' marketing passenger vehicle business unit headVivek Srivatsa said.
The company commercial launch of its new "styleback" Tata Tigor, meant for young and fast paced generation.Priced at Rs 4.99 lakh for the Revotron 1.2L (petrol) variantand Rs 5.92 lakh for Revotorg 1.05L (diesel) variant , ex-showroom in Kolkata.The company aiming to reach prospective buyers, already trained 6000 sales consultants to cater its newgeneration products like Tiago, Hexa and now Tigor, acorss 650 sales outlets and more than 500 servicepoints across the country. Tata Motors plans to add 200 sales touch points in FY 17-18.
