Jaguar Car Ltd was founded as SS Cars Ltd in 1922 by William Lyons is a luxury car manufacturer and the name was changed to Jaguar in 1945. The company has been owned by Ford since 1989. The first post war model was the 1948 Mark V. Jaguar soon experienced increased demand, particularly in the United States, and continued to refine many models over the ´80s. The current Jaguar models are XJ, S-Type, X-Type and XK.
