Founded by Enzo Feraari in 1929 , Ferrari is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello and Modena, Italy. It is involved in the manufacture of high-end, high-performance sports cars, race cars, and super cars. The company started independent car production in 1946; the first road car made by Ferrari was the 1947 125 Sport, which was powered by a 1.5 LV 12 engine. Ferrari’s magnificent and super fast cars soon acquired a reputation for excellence. Some of the company’s cars include the 550 Maranello, 360 Modena, 360 Spiderand as well as the Enzo, named after its founder. Ferrari is now controlled by the Fiat Group.
