Mulund Festival initiated by Charan Singh Sapra - MLC & Chairman of Sewak (NGO) was concluded on 24 th Dec 2012 with a Starring Goodbye to year 2012. The 4 day event organized from 21st – 24th Dec 2012 was a Grand Success. It featured more than 7000 participants in 13 different events which included Singing, Dancing, Literature, Invitational Cricket, Vintage Car Rally, Body Building, Badminton, Painting, Rangoli, Marathon, Cookery Competition, Story Telling Activities, Quiz Competition along with Flash Mob. Cars enthusiast thronged to witness vintage Car Rally showcasing various new models in Mumbai. The event was organized on the sidelines of the Mulund festival with the sole motive to preserve the old heritage of the country and to educate people about the evolution of the automobile industry. The rally passed through prominent locations in Mumbai. The rally was flagged off by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan. The rally saw around 100 vintage cars which are running over the mulund streets. Vintage Car Rally vroomed up the car lovers. Some of the most popular vintage beauties at the event included the Willys Overland 1909 - the oldest among all -Rolls Royce 1912, Bentley 1947, and Rolls Royce Phantom 1 of 1925.
