Continental GT - Speed

The 2007 Bentley Continental GT is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury coupe. It offers super car performance with traditional Bentley handcrafted luxury refinement with the combination of phenomenal power and contemporary design. 

Instead of a conventional 12-cylinder engine with two banks of six, the Continental GT’s 6-litre engine is configured in four banks of three cylinders in a W formation which make the drive utterly thrilling. But its size is deceptive. Twin turbochargers boost the power output to an astonishing 552bhp (411kW). Its super car status is confirmed by a top speed of 198mph (318km/h) and a 0-60mph time of just 4.7 seconds. The Continental GT develops maximum torque of 650Nm (479 lb-ft) at 1600rpm, translating to an immediate sensation of power as the accelerator is touched. The unique design of the W12 engine frees an exceptional amount of cabin space.

The throttles, fuel injection, twin turbochargers and ignition are controlled by the sophisticated engine management system. Full electronic control of the six speed automatic transmission, air suspension and continuous all-wheel drive combine to provide the immediate feedback.
