Built on company's New Gen Platform, Maruti Suzuki launched its big car of 2017, IGNIS in India. Priced at Rs. 4.59 lakhs,Ignis is available in both petrol and Diesel Engines. Engine options include the 84PS 1.2 litre K - series petrol and the 75PS 1.3 litre DDiS190 engine.
Ignis comes with safety features such as Suzuki TECT body, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, dual front airbags, and seatbelt pretensioners as standard equipment. It has sporty SUV like features like high ground clearance, bolder stance, and solid character lines. Most noticeable feature of this vehicle are the LED projector head lamps with with daytime running lamps.
Attractive exterior design detaisl include high shoulder line, cladding on wheel arches, 15-inch high gloss black alloy wheels, and the dual tone roof. The hatchback is offered with a total of nine body colour options (including dual tone colours) and three choices for interior body colour.
