Hero Honda Motors Ltd, the country's largest motorcyle maker, today said its net profit increased by 34.64 per cent at Rs 402.17 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2009, compared to Rs 298.70 crore during the same period a year ago. Total income zoomed by 21.90 per cent to Rs 3,466.76 crore for Q4FY09, from Rs 2843.79 crore in Q4FY08, the company said in a statement. The company has registered a 32.42 growth in net profit at Rs 1,281.76 crore for FY09, against Rs 967.88 crore in FY08. Total income grew 19.21 per cent to Rs 12,537.80 crore for the year ended March 2009, from Rs 10,517.22 crore for the year ended March 2008.
