Riding on the back of its two recent offerings -- hatchback Polo and sedan Vento -- car manfacturer Volkswagen has reported sales of 4,343 units for the month of October ''Volkswagen brand successfully ended the month of October with sales of 4,343 units across India,'' a company statement said today.

It had posted sales of 223 units in the corresponding period last year, it added.
