| Hyundai to expand dealership to 320 by year
end

| In a bid to increase it customer base, country's second largest car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today said it will increase its dealership network from 300 to 320 by the end of this year. HMIL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), South Korea also plans to expand its service workshop network to 625 from 608 at present by the end of the current year, the company said in a statement. ''With a growing customer base and increase in our product portfolio we need to access more and more customers and to achieve this we set up an aggressive program to increase our sales and service network. We will continue with this expansion plan to reach out to new markets catering to the ever increasing demand for our products,'' said HMIL MD and CEO H W Park. The car maker today also opened its 300th dealership in Karur, Tamil Nadu. Hyundai which has 542 touch points in 290 cities across the country further plans to increase this to 610 by December end. |
