Automobile maker Toyota today said it will foray into the highly popular premium hatchback segment with the launch of much-awaited 'Etios Liva' in the capital on June 27. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sandeep Singh, DMD Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said: "We are very happy to announce our entry into the popular premium hatchback segment with the Etios Liva. The Etios has been very well received by our customers across the market. We have delivered more than 20,000 cars as on date. We have successfully reduced the waiting period to less than one month by undertaking necessary steps to increase the production. We look forward to a good response for the Etios Liva." The company had earlier deferred the launch of the Etios Liva from April to June in order to reduce the long waiting period resulting from the overwhelming response received for the Etios. Stylishly designed for today's youth, Etios Liva will be competitively priced and will offer functionality and value for money, he added.
