Hero Honda Motors Ltd, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer today said its sales for the month of February 2011 increased by 23.54 per cent to 4,72,055 units.

The company had reported sales of 3,82,096 units in the corresponding month last year.

This is also the 10th consecutive month of 4-lakh plus sales for the company, Hero Honda said in a statement.

''Our performance throughout this fiscal has been very consistent and the strong February numbers are a positive indication for the growth to continue,'' said Hero Honda Motors Ltd Senior VP (Marketing & Sales) Anil Dua.

Hero Honda has so far recorded cumulative sales of 48,86,592 units in this fiscal, which is an increase of 16.75 per cent over the cumulative sales for the corresponding period last year, when the company had sold 41,85,492 units.
