Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 1,07,258
units in September 2011, higher by 24 per cent over September 2010. Cumulative
sales for the fiscal are 5,46,645 higher by 6 per cent as compared to
the corresponding period in 2010-11, it said in a statement. Global ales
of all commercial vehicles -- Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera
range -- were 51,719 units in September 2011, a growth of 28 per cent.
Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 2,78,507 units, a growth of 19 per
cent. Global sales of all passenger vehicles were at 55,539 vehicles in
September 2011, higher by 21 per cent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal
are 2,68,138 units, lower by 4 per cent. Global sales of Tata passenger
vehicles and the distribution offtake in India of Fiat cars were at 27,900
units, for the month, higher by 5 per cent over September 2010. Cumulative
sales for the fiscal are at 1,38,048 units, lower by 17 per cent. Global
sales of Jaguar Land Rover in September 2011 were at 27,639 vehicles,
higher by 42 per cent over September 2010. Jaguar sales for the month
were 5,525 units, higher by 14 per cent, while Land Rover sales were 22,114
units, higher by 51 per cent. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for
the fiscal are 1,30,090 units, higher by 14 per cent. Cumulative sales
of Jaguar are 24,649 units, lower by 17 per cent, while cumulative sales
of Land Rover are 105,441 units, higher by 25 per cent. |
