Motors today showcased a new range of vehicles, including the world s
largest monocoque van Traveller-26 at the Auto Expo. The vehicle (Traveller-26)
has been designed, developed and tooled in-house by Force Motors R&D,
Chairman of Force Group Abhay Firodia said here. The vehicle, priced at
Rs 11.5 lakh, will be available in the market from April, he added. According
to him, the market size of this type of vehicles is about 30,000 units
per annum. The other vehicles unveiled today included Traveller Luxury,
Traveller Hybrid, and two CNG versions of Traveller and Trump . The 15-seater
Traveller Luxury comes with a price tag of Rs 14 lakh. The Traveller Luxury
is suitable for tour and travel operators, hospitality industry and corporate
clients, said Mr Firodia. Talking about the hybrid variant of commercial
vehicle Traveller, he said it is expected to be commercially launched
next year. The hybrid version will reduce fuel consumption by about 30
per cent, he said. Force Motors, incorporated in 1958, is a complete vertically
