| Tata
Motors today unveiled three new vehicles at the ongoing 11th Auto Expo
in the capital. The vehicles are Tata Safari Storme, the new generation
Safari SUV; Tata Ultra, the new LCV and ICV range; and Tata LPT 3723,
a 5-axle rigid truck. These will be commercially launched in the next
financial year, Tata Motors Managing Director (India Operations) P M Telang
said while unveiling the new models at the 11th Auto Expo here. The company
also showcased its alternate fuel technology capability by displaying
four concepts--Tata Nano CNG, Tata Indigo Manza diesel electric hybrid
car, Tata Starbus Fuel Cell (hydrogen) and Tata Magic Iris CNG. We are
displaying our progress with alternate fuel technologies towards a more
comprehensive portfolio for the future, Mr Telang said. Tata Motors portfolio
already includes a full electric vehicle, Indica Vista Electric Vehicle,
and CNG-electric hybrid buses. |
