its presence in the mid-size sedan segment, car market leader Maruti Suzuki
India Limited unveiled the SX4 in an all new form including fresh look
exteriors and interiors, enhanced performance, and more convenience. The
all new SX4 delivers an improved fuel efficiency of 6 per cent @ 16.51kmpl
in petrol. The Super Turbo Diesel SX4 delivers 21.79 kmpl. The CNG option
returns a fuel efficiency of 22.1 km/kg.
Besides contemporary looks, the new SX4 offers high-end
optional features such as touch screen audio navigation.
Explaining the new features Mr. Manohar Bhat, Vice President
Marketing, says,"TThe all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 has new looks, and
also brings new features such as touch screen audio navigation and electronically
foldable ORVMs with turn indicator. In addition, the improved fuel efficiency
is sure to delight users of this segment. Powered by two celebrated engines
the Super Turbo 1.3 Litre diesel and the 1.6 Litre VVT petrol engine,
the car now offers much more to the car connoisseurs in this segment.

An array of delightful changes in interior and exteriors make the new
SX4 look premium, refined and feature-rich. There is no change in the
prices of the new SX4.
The new SX4 is 10 mm longer. It sports a new chrome front grille, a muscular
bumper with a dual tone finish and wide stable stance. The new front grille
has horizontal lines that make the new SX4 appear broader. The new smoked
out headlamp garnish brings in style and adds character to the new frontage.
Inside the cabin, the new SX4 sports superior black and
beige dual tone shades. The dashboard has elegant black finish and beige
rich fabric upholstery. The new interiors have a refreshing black and
marble finish prints, wooden finish armrests, chrome AC side louvers and
chrome finish side handles.
The new SX4 has many new optional features that provide convenience. It
comes with all new touch-screen audio with integrated navigation with
Bluetooth. This enables features like GPS, Music and messaging to be integrated
on the screen.
The SX4 is powered by a 1.6-litre VVT petrol engine that delivers a maximum
power of 104.7 PS at 5600 rpm and a peak torque of 145NM at 4100 rpm.
Under the hood of the SX4 Diesel lies the high powered 1.3 litre Super
Turbo DDiS diesel engine that returns power of 90PS @ 4000 rpm and a peak
torque of 200NM @ 1750 rpm.
Power is transmitted via five-speed smooth and precise gearbox that uses
detent pin technology. The new SX4 is OBD-II compliant and meets the BS-IV
standards.
Maruti Suzuki SX4 has been ranked highest in new vehicle satisfaction
in the JD Power APEAL (Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) study
in 2012. This was the fourth consecutive year that SX4 won this accolade.
The APEAL study provides an analysis of what car owners like about vehicle
design, features, layout and performance.
Maruti Suzuki SX4 has been ranked highest in new vehicle satisfaction

SX4 has won the Maruti Suzuki Raid De Himalaya in the Adventure Car Category
for four consecutive years.
The new SX4 comes in two enticing new colours – Serene Blue and Granite
Grey. This is besides the four colours already available in the market
