BMW likely to increase prices from August 15

BMW has announced a price increase of up to 5% across their entire model range in India, which also includes the MINI range of cars available in the country. The revised price will be effective across their 35 dealers from 15th August. They have also announced range of convenient and customized financing solutions via BMW Financial Services India, for customers who plan to buy BMW and MINI cars before 15th Aug.

BMW India had earlier increased price of their products by up to 6% earlier this year. Speaking about the current price increase, Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “Following a path of sustainable growth, BMW Group India wants to maintain sustainable leadership in the Indian market with a strong brand and an exceptional model range with unbeatable product substance. The success of BMW Group India has always been built on long-term thinking and responsible action. BMW India, the third largest luxury car manufacturer in India, aims to improve their dealer network to penetrate the Indian auto industry deeper. By the end of next year, BMW India aims to have 50 dealerships across major metropolitan centers and emerging markets in India. They will also launch the new 1 Series in September, which will compete with Mercedes Benz A Class, B Class and Volvo V40 premium hatchbacks.
