India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India has now introduced a limited edition version of its flagship hatchback Ritz, called the @buzZ, which has been offered with 12 additional features. It is and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options as well as both transmission options. It is basically a combo pack, which has been offered with all the variants of Ritz at an additional cost of Rs 10,000-12,000, depending upon the variant, a buyer wishes to purchase. Exterior changes include special Abuzz edition body graphics, door visors, special mud flaps and bumper protectors. On the inside, the Abuzz edition gets music system with Bluetooth and USB compatibility as well as six speakers, seat covers, rear parking sensor, floor mats, door sill guards and a rear parcel tray. CarWale spoke to a Maruti Suzuki dealer who confirmed that accessories are being fitted at the dealer level. The Ritz Abuzz edition will continue to be powered by the same petrol and diesel mill from the standard car. While the petrol is a 1.2-litre that produces 85PS and 113Nm of torque, the oil burner is the 1.3-litre engine that produces 75PS and 130Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic (petrol only). The offer is quite an appealing one, by just paying Rs 10,000-12,000 extra, one can avail so many additional features, which could cost him more than double, if he buys it from outside. |
