Mercedes-Benz to launch C-Class
Celebration Edition

Mercedes-Benz India will launch the C-Class Celebration Edition for the Indian consumers. The company will introduce this vehicle to celebrate its milestone of delivering 10 million C-Class's to buyers worldwide. There will be no mechanical changes, but it will come with the Edition C badging. Externally, the C-Class Celebration Edition gets an AMG body kit, AMG alloy wheels and most probably badges signifying that the car is a special edition. The interiors are likely to get all the AMG spec options and celebration edition badge but will retain the same overall design. The engine is expected to remain the same as the C220CDI which means a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel mill that produces 170bhp and 400Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox. |
