Mahindra has launched a 9-seater variant of the Xylo MPV called the Xylo D2 Maxx. Targeted mainly at fleet operators, the Xylo Maxx comes with 9 seats (including the driver's) which means the third row gets side-facing seats. The MPV is available in BS3 emission standard and has been targeted at the fleet market as well as tour and travel operators.

This new variant of the Xylo is aimed at the taxi segment and comes with a 95PS 2.5-litre mDI CRDe engine which claims a fuel efficiency of 14.95kmpl.

Today, we are delighted to offer our customers the 9 seats option with side-facing rear seats – a feature preferred by the tour and travel segment. Given that the Xylo has best-in-class space, the side facing seats will provide a great deal of flexibility for carrying people or luggage.”
