Ashok Leyland Stile MPV launched
at Rs 7.49 lakh

Ashok Leyland has launched the Stile in Mumbai for Rs 7.49 lakh (Ex-showroom Mumbai). It was launched for the Indian market at a function in Delhi yesterday and is based on the Nissan Evalia, but with its significantly more utilitarian application and approach, the Stile is cheaper by over Rs 1-lakh. It is available in seven variants and with a single engine option. The Stile is powered by a 1.5 litre dCi common rail diesel engine that develops 76PS of power and 185Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The ARAI claimed mileage figure of the Ashok Leyland Stile is 19.5 km/pl. Ashok Leyland has reworked the exterior styling of the badge-engineered Stile with a new front grille, front bumper and headlights, the Stile also gets sliding rear windows and new 15 inch alloy wheels. Ashok Leyland’s Stile will be available in five different shades, namely, sparking white, silky grey, moon grey, passion red and imperial black. The MPV comes with a 2 year or 50,000 km warranty and will be sold through the company’s 130 LCV outlets across the country. Ashok Leyland is also looking to introduce its LCV dealerships in the north east market. Ashok Leyland has also said that a CNG variant of the Stile will be launched soon, however it is still not clear what engine will power the CNG variant and whether Nissan’s vehicles will also be offered with this option.
