The French auto major Renault has launched the much-awaited Duster SUV on 4th July 2012 with a starting price of Rs.7.19 lakh for petrol variant and Rs.7.99 lakh for base diesel (both prices ex-showroom New Delhi). Duster is fourth product by Renault India after Fluence, Koleos and recently launched Pulse. Renault Duster SUV Indian lineup has six variants, two petrol and four diesel.
Today’s all-terrain vehicles are often synonymous with bulk, but Renault Duster is an antidote to that idea. With a length of 4.31 metres and a width of 1.82 metres, Renault Duster is very compact. Its Megane-size proportions ensure that it is as at home in built-up areas as it is off the beaten track.

form.
This five-seater SUV from the stables of Renault has come out with three engine options-100.6bhp 1.6-litre petrol ,83.8bhp 1.5-litre diesel and 103.8bhp 1.5-litre diesel. Renault Duster 1.6L 100.6bhp petrol and 1.5L 83.8bhp diesel engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, whereas the 103.8bhp diesel powertrain is adorned with a 6-speeder.
