Renamed as 'Platinum Etios' within The India, Etios comes with new 6 versions at a starting price of Rs 6.43 Lakh. Bold design, premium new styling and plush new interiors make it an ideal family car. Reworks has been done in terms of front bumber, V-shaped grille, and rear bumper and give special care on rear seat comfort. All 5 Seats with 3 point ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor ) Seat belts With Pre Tensioner and Force Limiter (PTFL) for front seats.
Etios was shaped to meet unique requirements of Indian customer, essentially the need for of larger cabin and luggage space, high fuel economy and lowest ownership cost. In the new segment, a special focus has given to lower in cabin noise.
Mechanically the Platinum Etios has remained unaltered and is powers by a 1.4 litre diesel (68PS, 170Nm) and a 1.5 litre petrol (90PS, 132Nm), with both engines mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission.
